B2B Business Development Manager

For over 30 years, we’ve helped people find the perfect flooring to transform their house into a home.  As part of the next phase in our transformation journey, we are keen to broaden our reach and extend our fantastic offering to the commercial sector as well.  That’s where you come in.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead this new business line, establishing Carpetright as a significant competitor in the commercial flooring market.  The perfect candidate will be able to identify new opportunities which they can successfully turn into additional profit streams for the business.

You will need to demonstrate that you are a senior manager with a strong and successful track record in sourcing new business.  You will be passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients and will have expert-level influencing and negotiation capability.  A hard-working, self-motivated individual, you will have a talent for generating and nurturing relationships.  Experience of the flooring industry is advantageous but not essential.

This is a new role based at our Purfleet office in Essex (2 minutes from the M25).  It is an exciting opportunity to develop your skill set and work alongside ambitious, passionate colleagues, focused on building a flooring business for the future.
